Cumbasil Mite®

Sand bath for your chickens – chemical-free and natural

Cumbasil Mite is a chemical-free and natural mineral powder for protection against ectoparasites such as red mites, fleas, lice or biting lice.

  • Effective against chicken mites and other parasites.
  • Regulates mite pressure in the chicken coop.
  • Reduced dust, low in nanoparticles.
  • Improves the quality of stable bedding.
  • Scientifically investigated at the University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen.
  • 100% natural and chemical-free.
  • FIBL listed

Due to its particularly good adhesion properties to chicken mites, their mobility is severely restricted. After brooding in Cumbasil Mite®, the feathers become difficult for the mites to penetrate. Mite pressure in the coop is effectively regulated. Cumbasil Mite® is low in nanoparticles, significantly reducing dust pollution compared to competitors. This protects the health of both humans and animals. Contained silicon minerals promote the quality and shine of the feathers. The coop bedding is biologically sanitized. The result is less rot and a pleasant coop climate. Cumbasil Mite has been used by chicken and poultry farmers for years, whether for regulating mite pressure in the coop or for animal activity.

Well-being and employment

Brooding in Cumbasil Mite® is a great pleasure for the birds. They enjoy the bathing fun. Less feather pecking, less stress, and no boredom even in winter are rewarded with a good egg production.
